Zviad Chachnidze is a Managing Director of CFS. His current practice is focused on structured finance/securitization, security/money markets, derivatives, valuation, corporate finance. As a Managing Director, Zviad oversees all major projects undertaken by CFS.
Zviad has held senior management positions at major commercial banks. Prior to joining CFS, he held the office of Deputy Director with the Bank Republic (currently member of the Societe Generale Group) undertaking the development of Treasury and Investment Management departments. He oversaw day-to-day operations as well as undertook the development of risk-management technique and procedures and formulated operational strategy for the departments.
Zviad holds MA in Mathematics from Tbilisi State University; studied at Chemnitz University of Technology (Germany) at the Faculty of Mathematics, Group "Financial and Insurance Mathematics" where he was a Ph.D. student, Professor Assistant. At various times Zviad has been trained in Sparkase Schwabisch Hall (Stuttgart, Germany) at the treasury department/trading floor, at CERMA (Tbilisi, Georgia) under the executive training program for professional managers and University of Munich (Germany) in financial mathematics. He is a former recipient of DAAD Stipend, INTAS grant and Soros Scholarship.
