First Corporate Bonds by a Non-financial Institution
On June 7, 2007 Securities National Regulatory Commission of Georgia approved. Prospectuses for issuance of one year and three year corporate bonds by Elit Electronics in the aggregate amount of USD3 Million. CFS has acted as a Lead Manager of the issuances. Presentation dedicated to the opening of the placement was held at Marriot Tbilisi on June 21.
Corporate bonds of Elit Electronics are first corporate bonds issued by a non-financial institution in Georgia. CFS has elaborated a complex legal and technical infrastructure for the public placement and trading of the bonds through the distribution network of the Elit Electronics. This is a milestone for the development of the local capital market in Georgia.
